This exclusive limited-edition medallion cover (only 2,000 issued) celebrates Australia’s remarkable native orchids. Each cover is individually numbered and postmarked, making it a truly unique collector’s item.

Australia is home to around 1,900 orchid species, with an incredible 90% found nowhere else in the world. This medallion cover highlights two stunning examples:
• Cleopatra’s Needles (Thelymitra apiculata) – A striking purple-and-yellow orchid native to the southwest of Western Australia, particularly around Geraldton. Thriving in shrublands and woodlands, this rare or near-threatened species grows between 20 and 25 cm tall.
• Tiger Orchid (Diuris sulphurea) – A bright-yellow orchid found in forests, woodlands, and grasslands across Australia, except in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Also known as a donkey orchid due to its elongated, drooping petals, it reaches heights of 20 to 60 cm.
This medallion cover is a must-have for collectors and nature enthusiasts alike, celebrating the beauty and diversity of Australia’s native orchids.
